Repair Woes

See the plop of white epoxy three-quarters of the way up the rail (towards the nose)? Not beautiful, but functional.

This "repair", on the other hand, was neither.  There were just some scratches along the rail that I thought I would cover up with a little epoxy, nothing major, nothing that actually threatened the integrity of the board.  I watch Old Yankee Workshop on a regular basis, so I figured it would be a piece of cake.  It's not often that a "repair" reduces the value of your board.
